World War I Was one of the bloodiest wars ever. World War I was a war fought in Europe between Germany, Russia, France, Great Britain, and the United States and many others. World War I was ultimately started with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary. The indirect causes were more significant to the outbreak of WWI than any direct cause. There are several causes that forced Europe into the “Great War” such as militarism,alliance systems, imperialism,and militarism.
Seren Pisella 4/19/23 World War I was a life altering war that changed the way we lived and led to new periods in life. European tensions (the Assassination of Franz Ferdinand) really caused the war, and new advances in technology gave way to incredible combat and countless deaths. Most of these fights, however, didn’t really lead to anything, and just led to pointless fighting. But eventually the Allied Powers gained the upper hand, and the Central powers asked for a truce of sorts. This led the Allies to come together and try to craft something to make everyone happy.
World War 1 Causes There were lots of countries in Europe whose militaries were getting bigger and stronger. There were many people who were proud of their country and wanted to protect it. Also bigger countries wanted more so they tried to take from smaller and less strong countries. Next, countries worked together to be stronger but if one country had a problem with another then all the other countries would get involved. The main causes of World War I were strengthening of the military, loyalty to a country, era of conquering, and partnerships between countries.
There is continually something that prompts to another. Sometimes, it can bring about an enormous outbreak. At the turn of the twentieth century, Europe was at war. This war lasted more than four, long, gruesome years. It was also known as the “Great War”.
A significant enduring issue that has existed over time is conflict due to it being a lead to serious disagreements between different nations, as shown by World War 1 and World War 2. World War 1 was a world-changing event because new military technologies and strategies were created, as well as it was a cause of multiple empires falling, independence movements around the world, and the rise of Hitler. The main reason World War 1 started was because of an assassination of the Austrian Archduke in June 1914. Although multiple powerful nations created alliances with each other, there were severe land stalemates. Until Britain leaked a telegram from Germany to Mexico, asking Mexico to ally with them for Germany to invade the United States.

The conditions set for a major shift in power caused by Italian and German unification. This unification brought many new leaders of great power such as Victor Emmanuel II and Otto Von Bismarck. With newfound land, power, and wealth, Bismarck felt invincible and began to seek war and form alliances.
Causes of World War I World War I was the bar fight of all bar fights and was expected to end quickly. Unfortunately, the treacherous battle field held soldier's longer than expected. At first, Europe had been flourishing with colonies worldwide and had developed in technology greatly.

World War 1 or also known as ‘The Great War’, was an worldwide conflict from 1914 to 1918. A big cause for the war was imperialism. The war was fought between the Central powers ( Germany, Austria-Hungary, Turkey) and the Allied cause (France, Great Britain, and later U.S.) U.S. remained neutral and sold goods to both sides until 1917, U.S. then later declared war on Germany for many reasons. The contributions from U.S. to the Allied Cause helped turn the course of the war.
After a total loss of 17 million people, both soldiers and civilians, the war ended with an Ally victory. In 1919, the Allies (except
WWI (1914-1918) was a disastrous conflict between two sides - the Allied Powers and the Central Powers. It resulted in the victory of the Allies. There were plenty of Central Powers weaknesses, the Schlieffen plan, weak allies of Germany and their hard economic situation at the end of the WWI. However, it was not only due to these weaknesses, Allied Powers had a few strengths, that made them won. The most important of these are : greater army, control of the sea and support of the USA since 1917, while Germany was already running out of supplies and soldiers.
World war one was the first of two wars that will never be forgotten. The loss of land, millions of dollars, and millions of lives was some things that resulted from this terrible situation. Many argue on who or what was the underlying cause of this war, but there's more than one reason. During this time many people were people treated poorly and unfairly creating lots of anger. Early 20th century was a time about to join an ugly but necessary revolution.
Everybody was hostile and had mistrust in each other. The League of Nations had not been as successful as planned because the United States did not join it, and there were many political tensions between the world’s powers. Appeasement also played a big role in starting the war. Hitler became the chancellor of Germany, and challenged many treaties. They adopted appeasement because nobody was willing to confront Hitler.
World War One was a devastating event, leading to the loss of many lives. Countless people considered this to be “the war to end all wars.” Though many circumstances directly caused the start of the Great War, the actual root causes are much deeper. These causes include Nationalism and Alliances in and between European countries. Because of these underlying problems, the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was then the final straw in the lead up to World War one.
There are many reasons as to what started the war or what made it turn into a world war, but the main three are alliances, nationalism, and assassination. One of the cause that made 20 million people die and created people to lose their homes were, alliances. Alliances played a huge role as to why is was a world war instead of just a war. As soon as Austria- Hungary declared war on Serbia, then Russia would come because the two countries are allied. Once Russia is involved, then Germany will join because it is allied with Austria- Hungary.
The causes of World War I The many different causes of World War 1 were quite brief with excruciating fatalities. There were many innocent people who were just living a regular life didn’t know what was about to hit them. People like to say that there were five different causes of World war 1. Those causes were nationalism, imperialism, militarism, alliancism, and assassination.
