The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime written by Mark Haddon is a novel that shows that all people are capable of change providing they have a goal to achieve. This was shown through three characters; Ed Boone, Judy Boone and Christopher boone. Judy at first was constantly putting herself down and she had convinced herself that she was a bad mother and that ed and christopher were better off without her but in the end she realised that christopher needed her in his life so she decided that she would just try her best and be there for him. Ed wanted to be a good father so he realised that the parenting style he was using was not helping christopher but damaging him mre so he set out to try and change his way of looking after and loving
