Student ethics are compromised do to the overuse of technology and lack of teacher supervision. Students everywhere are cheating on homework, test, and pappers. Academic dishonesty is not something new it is just something that teachers are not disciplining students for. Therefore there are way more students cheating and not feeling bad about doing so. Teachers need to be more persistent about discouraging student cheating because they are to busy with their outside lives to properly do school and cheating is way to easy now. Students at every level of education are being dishonest in their work. They are either using someone else's work like it is theirs or they are taking information from the internet and not giving the author credit. Students are cheating on test and they are not feeling guilty about doing so. Technology has just enhanced the ability to cheat. There are many different apps that help students cheat and get away with it. There are apps that show the students the work that should be done, so they can copy that as well. Students think that this app will help them but they fail to realize that even these apps are hindering their development. Students do not understand that the apps they are using will not help further their education nor their future. The students that are cheating in high school will not be able to make it through college without cheating and colleges tend not to be as understanding when it comes academic dishonesty. Colleges will kick you out if they catch you cheating or trying to use someone's work as your own. They have no tolerance for cheating when they catch it.
