The Mongolian Empire is one of the most well known empires. It was founded in the year 1206 by their most famous and fierce leader named Genghis Khan (Matteucci). The Mongols were brutal. They were responsible for tens of thousands of deaths across the world(Mongols in World History). They did many tragic acts that transfer over to today's world. This essay will explain why the Mongols still have a bad effect on the world today with things like disease and other things like wars and terrorism. Without some of these materials today we wouldn't have some inventions like guns and rings with jewels on them. The economy would not be as strong. Gold serves as a hedge against the declining value of currencies through inflation, this leads many investors to consider gold an alternative asset and a way of safeguarding their wealth. This serves as a mini bank. Guns have helped many in wars. The invention of the gun makes killing or brutally injuring someone an ease. This is the biggest piece of artificial warfare. But the invention of gunpowder actually isn't a good thing. Lots of people die by guns. In fact just about 48,000 people died by gun fire in 2021(Mongols in World History). Gun fire is the 8th biggest cause of death in America. Gun powder can also cause pollution in the air. The smoke contains chemicals that are toxic and are dangerous to inhale(Matteucci). This could be another reason for death. Because of pollution in the air and over 48,000 deaths by guns last year, this proves that it is indeed a bad invention and not a good one. Overall, the invention of gunpowder is not a good thing and is very bad.
