With the subliminal effects that technology has on students all over the world today, plagiarism has become so common among schools and Universities that it is not looked at as an illegal action. Plagiarism is like a bird creating a nest for its chicks, and another bird laying her eggs there. The most common use of plagiarism is direct plagiarism, or copying another person’s work straight forward. Another way to describe this form of plagiarism is the “Copy and Paste” method. The act of plagiarising is always insufficient, and should never be tolerated in today’s day and age.

Time management is key to avoiding plagiarism. Planning out assignments and creating deadlines for oneself is the best way to prevent plagiarism from creeping into a students thought process. “Sources must be cited, including not only print books and scholarly articles, but anything you borrow to craft your assignment”(Harvard University).
