In the novel, The Egypt Game, one theme that is central to the story is the theme of friendship. In this book, many school aged children come together and build a friendships around the discovery of a mysterious shed they name Egypt. In “Egypt” the group of children created an Egypt game which brought them together as friends. According to the novel, The Egypt Game, the professors shop had dirty window which made it spooky and mysterious. In addition, the yard had tall weeds and junk laying all over the yard. The setting of the professors shed was the right amount of spooky, mystery and fun to build friendships.
