The three careers I chose to examine were IT Security Administrator, Forensics Investigator, and Obstetrician Gynecologist. I chose these careers because I discovered that the employment rates for these jobs are expected to grow at a faster than average 37% from 2012-2022. This is because data security threats are growing and with more digital technology rising, more organizations have become victims of cyber crimes. The other career is what I want to be. Internet Security Administrators, also known as computer security specialists, or Internet security specialists, protect computer systems against attack.
My name is Robby Bennett. I am 14 years old, and am an eighth grader here at Belmont Ridge in the class of 2028. I have been here since sixth grade, and have never had an opportunity that has honored me to this extent. Even just the thought of getting the opportunity to walk across the stage at the induction ceremony, gives me butterflies. The National Junior Honor Society was created by a select number of principles that only a small majority possess.
Being selected as a possible candidate for admission to the National Honor Society at Manchester High School is a tremendous honor, one that I do not take for granted. The National Honor Society is an established and prestigious organization that recognizes exemplary students across the nation. It is a privilege just to have the opportunity to be a part of this society. With a focus on educational excellence and service to the school and local community, I believe that this organization is a perfect match for me due to my many positive characteristics that will allow me to help enhance the community and school environment. One of my beliefs is that a group is only as strong as its weakest link, and while I don't believe that our community
My name is Mia Blake and I am grateful for the chance to join the National Honor Society. I would love to join the National Honor Society to have more opportunities to help my community and to help my peers. I have seen all the good that the National Honor Society has been able to do and how involved they are, and would like to be a part of the action. I feel that within my three years of school I have exemplified leadership, service, scholarship, and character and would like to further these attributes through the National Honor Society. I have always wanted to help people, but I haven’t had many opportunities to do so.
I am very honored to apply for the Science National Honor Society primarily because of my interest, but also to enhance my academic achievements in science. My interest in joining the SNHS is to enlarge my comprehension in the fascinating study of sciences. I have always been a visual learner, not through reading and writing but through imagery, experiments, tests, and labs. This way of learning has hooked me to learn more about science. From biology to physics, science is a never-ending field which intrigues me endlessly.
“Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings.” -Salvador Dalî 1904-1989. As Salvador Dalî has said, in order for intelligence to truly be intelligence, it requires ambition. I believe that this quote perfectly describes the quality of scholarship (specifically defined as academic study or achievement; learning at a high level), for this quality can only be obtained through the extreme effort and desire to become intelligent.
It is my desire to attend the United States Naval Academy. My goal is to follow in my father 's footsteps as an officer in the naval branch of our armed forces. My father began his career as an enlisted seaman twenty years ago and is now serving as a Lieutenant. Being the son of a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, I have always had an interest in the military and a desire to also serve and follow his footsteps. It was not until high school when I decided that I wanted to attend the Naval Academy.
Watson from Sherlock had the ISFJ personality type also. People believe ISFJs are the backbone of the workforce. The suited careers for ISFJs would be jobs with history behind them, such as medicine or academics. I can also relate to the fact that people with my personality type like to do behind the scenes work and stay under the radar, but still be appreciated for the work and effort put into it. Something new I learned about myself was that being to nice and selfless can be one of my weaknesses and allow people to walk all over me.
Being an active member within my school community is something that has always been of importance to me. During my time at the University of Rhode Island (URI), I have been heavily involved in many organizations and have held different leadership roles all while excelling in my academics. Since my time at URI I have been a consecutive member of the Dean’s List with a GPA of 3.83. Although I am very passionate about my academics, it is my involvements and leadership roles that make my time so enjoyable. I am s second year Resident Advisor as well as a second year URI 101 Mentor.
I have been informed that I was not selected to be a member of the National Honor Society. I would like to respectfully disagree with this decision. Being in the National Honor Society means a lot to me, and I would first like to thank you for considering me as an applicant and for also taking this time to listen to my defense. The main problem with my application was a lack of community service.
I really enjoyed learning about this career. Anesthesiologists don’t just deal with the anesthetics, they are also actively monitoring the patient’s vitals, as well as assisting the surgeon with any help they may need. I was also very surprised to learn that they can sometimes work in offices. They don’t deal with patients at every time of day.
National Honor society was established to recognize outstanding high school students. National Honor society recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of academic success, leadership, character and service. I should be in National Honor Society because I think I represent a lot of the qualities needed to be in this organization. Throughout my years in high school, I have been very involved in the band program here at Langham Creek. As a freshman, I started out in Concert 2 band.
When completing the Enneagram Personality inventory, I found my dominant personalities were the perfectionist and the peacemaker. Each of these personalities aided in my decisions when working with Mr. and Mrs. Wilson and the rest of the collaboration team. My first trait, the perfectionist, helped me to be very productive and orderly when putting together an agenda for the collaboration meeting. In order for the meeting to go smoothly, it was very important for me to have a detailed agenda in which I knew I could cover all the information that the Wilson’s needed to hear and also give everyone a chance to voice their comments and concerns during the meeting as well.
I am sure you have heard the old adage that “You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression”, however, I do have a very strong faith in believing with scripture “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” (Matt. 19-26). First and foremost, I did want to thank you for the opportunity to interview for the open administrative assistant position. It was a true privilege to have had a small glimpse of the magnitude of Hobby Lobby’s operations. This is certainly a testimony of gifted leadership and diverse employee talent.
Firstly, I am persistent. No matter how many times I fail, when I really want something, I won’t stop until I get it, so I wouldn’t stop trying until I helped my patient to find a solution for his/her problem. Secondly, I am interested, like to listen to other stories and hate it when they end up sadly. Ever Since I was little, I have loved to talk to others about their personal experiences and give advice when they needed it because it killed me to see that something was bothering them. Thirdly, I am loyal, so if someone asks me not to tell something to others I won’t tell and if I say that I won’t tell, I most of the time fulfill my word.
