When he spent 47 days on a raft with two others, he took charge on conserving the food and water. When Zamperini was in his early teens, he found himself in trouble often.
Introduction/Hook/Lead Jace from the book city of bones is a perfect example of an archetypal hero. This can be proven by the fact that he follows all steps in the 8 elements of of hero’s characteristics. He mostly follows the steps to a mighty warrior, unusual birth circumstances, and his epic quest. A little about Jace is that he’s a shadow hunter who kills these demons that are called downworlders throughout the book.
