Action, romance and science fiction are all common movie genres. Dystopian Future is a new rising genre in the era where various genres overflow. It is a compound word of dystopia and future, dystopia which is the antonym of utopia means not-good place, and future means a tense sets in the future. Mainly dystopian future story is about, how the characters survive when many environmental disasters are given in unideal place. These stories could be the mirror of our society and they might criticize present corruption of the world. Now it will introduce the most popular film among the diverse Dystopian Future movies, named The Hunger Games. This movie vividly shows features of the Dystopian Future a lot. The story takes place in Panem, a universe consisting of main city Capitol and other thirteen districts. There are strong gap between the Capitol and the rest of the districts. The Capitol monopolizes all the wealth, source, and enjoys everything abundant but the thirteen districts have nothing and they have to pay tributes to the Capitol with special products. Also the Capitol is technologically advanced but the other districts are remained poor. Against this injustice, district thirteen uprose, but the Capitol won and the district thirteen disappeared terribly. For expiate their rebellion, the Capitol selects a boy and a girl by lottery from each district, and twenty-four participants fight to the death in the arena of the Capitol until the last victor survives. The main character Katniss Everdeen from district twelve the poorest region in Panem, volunteered for her little sister Primrose in 74th annual Hunger Games.
