The American dream might not hold the same awe inspiring sound that it once did, but for many generations before ours it was a beacon of hope that helped build the foundation that the United States was built on. And, still, today the American dream might not be as achievable as it once was, but it is still an important
When you think of the American Dream what do you think of. Some might think of coming from another country, going to college, or maybe becoming an owner of a business. There 's many definitions of The American Dream, everyone’s is different. I see the American Dream as a reality not so much of a dream these days. First thing I 'm going to talk about it what are some obstacles of reaching the American Dream, which groups of people have had trouble obtaining the dream, and why.
The American dream is one of the wonders of America is it real or just a lie can you come to this country and make a living out of it and support yourself and your family or will not find anything to do here and be unemployed and not have anything. The American dream is based on opportunity and chance to do something in your lifetime and that is what America must offer. The American dream is true people across the world come to the united states to find an opening to work and make a living out of that. The dream helps with education that everyone can learn and go to college after high school. This is one of the many factors this thing consist of and they are educations, careers, and the last one is a new life.
For numerous reasons, I don’t believe that America still provides access to the American Dream because the American Dream is for everyone to be successful and fortunate, and since everything is so pricey and some people are just not fit for it, it is hard to be successful. Some people may agree because they feel that America still provides access to the American Dream. However, I do believe that if it gave access enormously of us would be wealthier. Also, we would probably be living better. Therefore, I will challenge this claim that America provides access to the American Dream.
In England, two Americans Spoke about the American dream. It was in 1965 at Cambridge University, Cambridge, England, at the Cambridge Union Society, James Baldwin, and William F. Buckley Jr. Faced off regarding whether "The American Dream has Been Achieved at the Expense of the American Negro?" Before the debate began a man named Norman St. John Stevas M.P. Introduced the two American men who were debating. The debate starts off with two college undergraduate.
The American Dream is the idea that every US citizen should have an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through hard work, determination, and initiative. In other words, the American Dream is the ideology that anyone can come to America and have the social mobility to move however you would like. But is this true? Men and women like Della Mae Justice, Andy Blevins, Ewa Gora and other U.S citizens challenge the idea of social mobility and the American Dream. Therefore, The American Dream cannot truly be assessed by all in the United States.

The American Dream: Happiness The key to achieving the American dream is to live life happy. No matter if it is happiness with money, love, freedom, or safety all people deserve the American dream. Everyone has their own way of pursuing an "American dream". Many immigrants have come to America to pursue that dream.
As humans, we all have this great desire for what we cannot have. Instead of being satisfied with what is, we long for what could be. This is a habit that has mainly been correlated with the 1900’s. Many phrases like “Keeping up with the Joneses” come from this period. The 1900’s were a significant period of time in American history.
Everyone has a dream. Although these dreams aren’t the ones you have while sleeping, they are the ones that drive you, challenge you and keep you fighting for the reality that they will become true. They are the dreams that you will work hard for. Martin Luther King Jr. even died while fighting for his dream to become a reality. They are the ones you hope will one day become a reality.
The most common and typical American Dream is the dream of being super successful and wealthy. It’s been a common belief for many years that when you come to America you can get rich very easily and do anything you want. Even though most people have a lot better opportunities in America then their home countries, getting rich and famous is still pretty challenging for most people. Their are a few people that actually became rich and famous from coming to America, but its very few compared to those who don’t become rich and famous. Most people who come to the U.S. do not become rich but they do become more wealthy then they were in their home countries because of how poor some of the other countries are compared to America.
Why is the “American Dream” not taken advantage of? Do we get blinded by love so easily in this country that we forget what we actually came for? The American dream is a desire for improving our way of life such as achieving goals to have riches, a high education, and material goods. Parents leave their countries of origin so their kids can have a better living environment, and sometimes even bring them along so they can get a higher education. I couldn’t believe Mago, Carlos, Leonardo, and Betty did not take advantage of being in the land of opportunity.
