Being a peacekeeping country, should allow you to foreshadow on other countries what peacekeeping should guise and how the role of a Western country is significant in a calamity such as the refugee crisis. The issue with that being said is the slight amount of refugees the government has acquired throughout history of refugee crises in third-world countries. The UN Peacekeeping is one of the more major operations of the Security Council, which is the establishment of the peacekeeping missions in the countries who are strictly cladding with conflict such as war, or any form of violence. Peacekeeping missions are set out for those involved in a conflict to settle their differences in non-violent action (NVA) approach, by negotiation rather than resorting to the use of armed conflict. Therefore I believe the government has to resort to their options and how they can help solve the refugee crisis in a peacekeeping or nonviolent action, which can result to helping with humanitarian aid, but more importantly allowing more refugees come into our country at an immediate
