High school is a time to find out who you truly are. You have countless choices and are plagued with decisions galore. Integrity plays a huge part in who you are and what you go through in high school. The way your integrity shapes you can either help you or harm you. I like to think of myself as a person of integrity. Whenever I have to make a decision, I try and make the best one and I like to think the right one. In this same situation I like to think I made the right one. It seems as the years pass, the amount of high school drinking and drug abuse goes up. The tolerance for such thing in schools is zero. Yet kids do it, thinking it makes them look cooler or a various other reasons. If you walked up to a kid in a high school today, they have either heard about or seen at least one of there peers drinking. The same, unfortunately, goes at our school. The fact that there were cars kind confused me because we were freshmen and just starting out to drive, some of us didn't even have cars. I just kinda pushed it off to the back of my mind. As we walked down the street I could hear the music, I had watched enough COPS to know what was gonna happen. I just kept telling myself that if I left everyone would think I was a wimp, so I kept going. We got inside and I could immediately smell all the vape smoke and alcohol. I see kids with red solo cups in there hands and I know that it wasnt water. The host came up to my friend and I and wrapped his arms around us with a big smile and said hey. As he did so I smelt the alcohol on his breath. This was not going to be good. I looked at my friend and said “We need to get out of here, now.” We made up an excuse and left. I remember to this day hearing my freshmen government teacher in the back of my mind telling us “Hey whatever you do, don't get arrested this weekend” don't worry Mr Lo, I
