Today, Africa faces multiple problems. If these problems escalate, they will reach a point of no-turning back which will in-turn harm their social, economic, political and financial state.
One of the major problems faced by Africa is their constant dependence on international aid. Most of the African countries are in serious debt such as Cape Verde which has a debt to GDP ratio of 114.2 (as of December 2014). Countries such as these will find themselves in a serious debt trap if proper measures and implements are not enforced.

Therefore, I believe that in 20 years, we will see a brighter Africa which if not fully developed, will definitely be well on the path of progress and sustainable development.
In order for Africa to have a brighter future, I feel that a certain number of policies and measures can be enforced as a solution to the various problems faced by them. First of all the countries can enforce a free trade policy. This policy involves a system in which the trade of goods and services within countries carries on unobstructed by government enforced limitations. By doing so, not only will the foreign exchange increase but also the production will increase along with acquiring a better range of goods and services.
Secondly, I think that good governance and leadership is the key to slowly reducing and eventually eradicating the poverty in these countries. The African leaders must ensure to devote a lot of time, money and effort into the agriculture sector.
