Do your choices shape who you become? I would answer this question with a yes. After reading the two stories about values in conflict I have learned that your decisions shape your future. Most of these decisions come from values that you have conflicting with one another or simply just values you have. With some of these choices they could drastically change your life or they could change a small thing, this changes depending on your values. He did not want to take the Arab to prison because he did not want to make the Arab people angry at him but he did not want to make the French angry by not doing the job that was put upon him “The orders? One of these times that I have had conflict with two values is when I get homework. I value education and a great education comes from your work in school. This has conflicted with my values because I love sports and you can not miss the games otherwise you feel like you have let down your team. This has conflicted in the past when I have a sport almost directly after school but I also have homework due the next day or later that night. Due to this I had to choose between sports or homework at times unless I had time to do it during school. This resulted in me doing better on assignments and getting them in on time.
