World power is a sovereign state that is recognized as having the ability to exert its influence on a global scale. World power characteristically possesses military and economic strength. The status of a world power is formally recognized in international structures such as the united nation security council also known as the UN. America is the most developed and famous country in the world. United States has the most developed economy and is proceeding towards more success. U.S is a very active and major member of the United Nations which has top and likely countries in its council, it is very easy for U.S to influence the United Nations because of the power and reputation it holds all over the globe. The U.S military is one of the finest in the world because of the training they put in and also because they have high budget for their army which includes; Ground force, navy and air force. U.S invests in high technology in artillery to make their forces stronger. Investment in technology makes U.S military dominant over the military of other countries including China.
Apart from all the positive aspects of U.S, most of the population said that China will overtake U.S as the best and most powerful economy of the world. US have a dominant position in many popular industries as well as brands such as Nike’, Apple, Adidas, AND 1, Jordan e.t.c. and New York will remain the world’s premier financial center. Economists in US state that measuring the GDP with PPP (purchasing price parity) is “not quite the real thing” according to them GDP calculation should not include PPP as they don’t think it is the right way and by this statement we see that US recognizes itself as still the number 1 in world economy, because by not including purchasing power parity China’s GDP per head is less than even quarter of United State’s GDP per head.
