Personality Every single individual in this world have different personalities. In psychology personality is define as relative stable and distinctive style of thoughts, behavior and emotional response that characterize a person an adaptations to surroundings circumstance. Personality results from the interplay of biological and environment factors. There are three elements or factors that have influence in personality they are genetic, environment and culture. Environment also plays a very important role in determining the behavior and personality development of an individual. Environment includes all the extrinsic forces, influences, conditions which affect the life, nature, behavior, growth development and maturation of living organism. Which is divided into categories the natural environment and the social environment. The natural environment is refer to all those things that that influence an individual. Social environment deals with the environment which an individual sees around themselves on acquiring consciousness in the society. Philosophers like Freud have accepted the fact that social environment is very much responsible for changing in human behavior and its personality. Also physiologist emphases that the personality of an individual develop with in a social environment the way a person socializes effects person moral ideas, attitude and interest in the considered a person social self. This is part of personality development and its effect by the area an individual chose to socialize or live. Like social learning theory says, the relationship between behavior and environment is heavily concerned the reciprocal, which people cope with physical surroundings by altering them. Therefore, the influence that culture have in personality is the manner they learn, live and behave. There are two type of culture the universal and culture specific aspect. Some culture specific aspect corresponded to culture syndromes such as complexity, tightness, individualism and collectivism. There are different theories that believe that culture is something very important in personality. One of the effect of culture to personality is that people who born and bred in the same culture share common personality traits. Culture affect personality indirectly because if an individual want to experience new things and if their culture don’t put restrictive rules, that person will refrained from doing activities that there culture do. This happen because cultures force their people to adopted to their norms where the person can, develop different personality traits that will allow them to appear superior from others and same time accepted by their culture.
