Sometimes different characters in books and even people seem to be lost and hopeless and don’t know how to push on in certain situations. Sometimes, people even think that the world they are living is absurd and are wondering why and how they can keep going on. Pope John Paul II and Khaled Hosseini would both agree that there is a point to life and that no one should ever give up. The narrative of The Kite Runner and the piece from Pope John Paul II, both argue that there is a point to life and we need to persevere in our circumstances and our faith and philosophy, respectively.

Initially, he would first tell his readers that the main thing they need to build off of in order to find the answers to life's big questions, is that they need to accept and follow Jesus. After this, John Paul would tell everyone who is trying to find the meaning of life, that they need to show their maturity and ability to grow by discerning “between what is true and what is false” so that they can distinguish between what the actual problem is and logically how they can fix it (532). Only after we pursue the truth and push through our own walls and thoughts is when we can move onto the next step of finding answers.
