Mr. Haskin’s was a very hard working farmer who lived on a financially stable farm with his lovely family, but he couldn’t control when the grasshoppers came and ran his farm poor. Somethings in life one cannot control which can cause struggles in their lives. What one can control is how they handle and react to the situation. The story is puzzling and mysterious all together. The story gives many evidences and hints to the princess’s decision. Some would say that the lady came out from behind the door, but there are several evidence that show that the princess chose the door with the tiger. First of all, if the princess chose the lady, she would be in so much pain to see her lover and the lady together.

After reading all of these texts, I have came to conclusion that in their culture they don’t think about other people's feeling before they say something. They think saying insulting things about someone is a way to compliment them, but I think it is a bad manner to say such things to others.
