The film The Lorax was released on March 2nd, 2012 directed by Chris Renaud of the film. The Lorax is about a town named Thneedville where everything is plastic and the people like it that way. The trees are gone and the air quality is terrible in the environment. Thneedville is run by O’Hare. O’Hare makes living in bad air quality possible, but O’Hare provides that clean air with a cost. The Lorax is a mystical creature who speaks for the trees and warns the Once-ler not to harm the trees. The trees are gone because the Once-ler chop down the trees for his invention. The Once-ler is an old guy that tells Ted the story of what happens to the trees. Ted is a twelve-year-old boy who is interested in finding about what happened to the trees and …show more content…

In the first minutes of The Lorax we see multiple images of O’Hare and his company, O’Hare Air. During the scene we see two guys talking to O’Hare about a new product. The new product is a plastic bottle that contains air inside of the bottle. The two business persons talk to O’Hare show him a comercial on the new product. After the commercial is over they tell O’Hare that once they start to build the new factory for the new product it will pollute the air even more. The two persons discuss that once the air quality is bad by the new factory people are going to want O’Hare air evenmore. In this scene O’Hare wants to pollute the air more. O’Hare wants to pollute the air by creating a new factory for the new product. Once the new factory is built the air quality will get worse and people would have to buy O’Hare air evenmore. The Lorax, shows corporation destroying the environment is an important problem because the corporation cause air pollution.
