She knows that having a steady job with steady income is very important, so of course she is going to move up in the health care field. This leads me to her second goal which is becoming a Nurse Anesthetist. It has to deal with anesthesiology and she is super excited to start helping people recover. Her last goal is to work at UAMS.
Memories are an important component to Ng’s novel “Bone.” I think it’s important to note that “Bone” could be called a memory book, because of how it moves in reverse chronological order and through flashbacks. Memories make up the book, but they also play a role within the novel. Memories are a fragment of an important past event. Through memories, we keep the feelings and people in those memories alive, which is what Leila says in the quote above.
As Melody Beattie quotes, “[the] new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can write that story by setting goals.” As I begin a new chapter in my life, I have set some goals for myself that I feel will benefit me in the future. My senior year of high school has motivated me to set realistic future goals that I know I will achieve for my own benefit.

Nina created a life list that consisted of five goals just after graduating from college. Cricket found this list and was determined to complete the goals Nina had once set for herself, but this list consisted of goals only someone with a large amount of money could complete. For example, one of the goals was to go to Paris and visit the Rodin Museum, but Cricket knew she nor her mother could afford a trip to Paris. Cricket took a different view and decided to make Nina’s life list into her summer bucket list. She knew she wouldn’t be able to complete each goal in the same way Nina had, but she would try her best to complete the goals in her own unique way.
Who is Margaret Walker? Margaret Walker was a poet who wrote five bibliography poems (Poetry Foundation). Margaret Walker wrote more poems but these are just the ones she wrote about her life. She leaned toward writing about nature and black lives, she addresses these things in the poems “Sorrow Home”, “ Memory”, and “Southern Song”, most people can relate to these types of poems because they can relate to being outdoors and doing hard work and putting forth the effort to get a job done. However, there is a deeper meaning to be found. This story symbolizes the many obstacles one must overcome to be successful in life. Among the many goals I will try to accomplish in the next 10 years of my life are: graduating
The goals in our lives, whether they are big or small, are the main things that lead us to success. Without any goals, life on this earth would be like waiting for rain in a drought, pointless and meaningless. Hoping that something good would come out of life but meaningless and pointless, since there is no drive to achieve anything. That is why I have always made it a priority to set goals for myself, even as a high school student. My main goal was to get into a university, such as Marywood, and become the best Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) that I can be.
