There are different ways to categorize personality traits, one of them is to use the meta-traits or the high-order factors of Big Five. According to DeYoung, Peterson and Higgins, stability and plasticity is the two high-orders of Big Five. Stability consist the personality traits of conscientiousness, agreeableness and emotional stability (neuroticism). It shows stable patterns in the aspects of emotion, social and motivation. Stability trait helps to maintain a stable organization so that a person is able to achieve long term goals. Skylar Driscoll demonstrates the meta-trait of stability. Research suggests that self-esteem influence life outcomes. Moreover, superego contains the conscience and internalized rules, it is the part of mind that builds the value of moral within one self.
