The Meyers-Briggs Indicator Paper

338 Words2 Pages
Recently in class we had an opportunity to take the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator questionnaire. Katherine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers designed The Meyers-Briggs Indicator (MTBI). Based on the theory of Carl Jung, it is made up of 90 questions that you self-answer, the purpose is to show psychologically how people view the world and make their decisions. I understand from Carl Jung’s theory that there are four principal psychological functions that we experience the world. The four being sensation, intuition, feeling, and thinking. And that out of these four, only one tends to be the dominant function for us most of the time.
My responses on the MBTI indicated my type to be ESFJ. E is for extraversion, where I focus my attention.
