The Renaissance or “rebirth” was a period of great scientific, artistic, and cultural advancement in Europe that gave way to many groundbreaking discoveries, such as the discovery of the heliocentric solar system (Document C), the portrayal of art in three-dimensional form (Document A), the discovery of the composition of the human body (Document D), and many other revolutionary achievements that enriched the society of Europe and their awareness of the real scientific world. During this time period, people began to understand the difference between science and religion and they developed a new understanding regarding their view of their own humanhood, or in other words, there was an evolution in man’s view of man. The Reformation in the Renaissance At the beginning of the Renaissance, the “time” had been going backwards. The people seemed to forget the older way of life. Instead of having stone houses and castles, they went back to thatched roof huts. Even though people neglected things, they also discovered new facts like the sun was actually at the center of the universe instead of the earth.
The Renaissance is widely viewed to be an era of different cultural changes that brought us widespread of new educational reforms. For the first time, education was considered to be an essential part of a society. To the popular thought of the Renaissance, the people who were educated in the Greek classics and with a standard knowledge of mathematics, philosophy ,and literature would be the ones who would bring the advances of human civilization. However, as the Renaissance went on, the popularity of education declined, and education once again became a luxury for only certain people. The renaissance education came from being a guide to the true meaning to a great luxury.(document 1).
As Europe exited the Middle Ages, an era known as the Renaissance began, which was the most influential period of European history, and the effects of this era can still be felt today. The Renaissance, which is French for “rebirth,” was a period of prosperity and cultural revival in Europe. As feudalism broke down and learning spread, the main topics strayed away from religion to other ideals. The Renaissance notably changed man’s perspective of both himself and the world around him. As education became more accessible during the Renaissance, people’s lives began to stop revolving around religion, and instead focused on art, literature, and science.
The Scientific Revolution between 1500 and 1700 led way to radical changes in people’s view of the universe and their place in it. New technology and discoveries changed the world for the better but also worse, simultaneously. Radical phenomenons at this time were secular views of how the Earth is created and managed, ruler’s afraid of uprising, heliocentric views. The secular views changed religion and the people apart of it, rulers affected the limitations of scientists politically, and heliocentric view changed how people were socially. Along with this new technology and methods of science and medicine were introduced.
During the 16th and 17th century areas that were forbidden before began to change. These were areas were humans were only entitled to know what God wanted to reveal, otherwise they were inaccessible or forbidden. The limits on the knowledge humans were able to possess became more accessible during the 16th and 17th centuries. The Reformation shows the decline of the Catholic Church and the rise of questioning authority leading to the Scientific Revolution. The Scientific Revolution showed that observations and conclusions became an acceptable source of knowledge and truth, where it had been less so in earlier times.
The human race has gone through many extravagant eras and ages. From the space age to the Victorian era, humans have seen civilizations fall and revolutions ensue. Possibly the most well known era was the age of the Renaissance. The Renaissance was an advanced age fueled by an infatuation for art and literature. People began to focus on the concept of individualism, and portrayed that in their art.
Reasoning had helped others look at the sky above and start looking for more things to discover based on the belief that the sun was the center of the universe and not what the church was wanting the people to believe. The last would be rational thinking, people had believed that the constellations (stars, or zodiac signs), were the reason for our thinking, walking, and regular body functions. One man had thought that what they were saying was untrue, and had decided to look into the research further and actually dissect human corpses to find out what we were really made of. He had found out that there was nothing in our body to actually do with the signs that were being said. The Renaissance reached to an end in the late sixteenth mid seventeenth century. The churches loss a lot of power and grasp of feeling of independence, human expression and investigation led to envy, treason, murder, violence and theft. But than again the Renaissance were the ones that painted the way to a lot of achievements and inventions in a lot of different areas of culture, society, science, religion and modern day life. A lot more advances were proficient during this era that kept on being increased in value, considered and developed in modern day. The Renaissance had a huge influenced on the establishment America was based on and keeps on effecting how American culture and society exist today.

This period witnesses the great amount changes, were invention and innovation start beginning in advance level. During the Renaissance movement, the establishment and changes on culture, political, ideas, education, and art were greatly influenced, which provided many of permanent scholars and thinkers of all time.
The middle ages brought very few books because the monks would spend month’s hand writing copies of religious writings which made the books immensely expensive. Document B states that “Man think sin in the beginning full sweet, which in the end causeth thy soul to weep, when the body lieth in clay” (Doc B) that means that if you were to commit a sin it will catch up to you in the future and you will have to pay the price. That quote basically sums up the thought on how the middle ages worked. The difference on how literature changed the way man thought during the renaissance was because people realized they didn’t have to always right about religion, they were open to write about anything they wanted to which made them smarter and important. Science during the renaissance played a big impact on how people looked at the universe and the environment we live in.

The Middle Ages drew a lot of change and marked a revolutionary time period. This was the time that advancement would emerge and the world prior to and after would be dramatically different from one another. Philosophers and philosophical values that were derived from the effects of the Middle Ages’ progress effect the events of the centuries following in Europe, Middle East, and all throughout the modern world into today. The spread of different religions, the advancement in technologies, and the continuous search for the rights of men would carry on through the ideas that were created in the Middle Ages.
