A study conducted by Harris and Straker shows that sixty percent of students undergo discomfort from using computers and sixty-three percent experience pain and discomfort in the upper body from carrying their laptops. Computer addiction has recently been one of the most serious mental issues among teenagers and adults. Goldsborough mentions that humans nowadays refuse to go anywhere without having their technological devices with them. He sadly states that computer addiction eliminates people 's ability to pay attention or stay focused on whatever task they are doing (7).
