The industry of auto technicians is growing every day. As more and more vehicles are produced, more and more they break down. As we move through the 21st century we see that the world is moved by automobiles. Many countries rely on vehicles to keep their economy booming. The issue is that the more and more vehicles are produced, there’s not just enough technicians to keep up with them. The issue of o technicians is causing the auto industry big money. Since this issue has arisen they have now opened technician schools to allow people to get certification to work on these vehicles.
Pay for this job is above average for the average American. Many people around the country are getting paid huge amounts just to be a technician. Pay compares to a registered nurse who gets paid at least 68000 annually. The amount goes up as you begin to train more and more. This means that by the time you’re a senior technician you pay will jump from 68 thousand a year to over 106 thousand a year. For example, you go into work, punch in and go to your station. You’re responsible for your station and no one else is. As the day progresses you get a task at hand. You diagnose the vehicles problem and ask what the customer feels what is wrong. After finding and assessing the problem you begin to take apart the automobile. As you begin to fix the broken parts, you must data log every part you remove, replace, and install. This time consuming process allows the warranty to keep track of what gets approved and what does not. Many mechanics have taken the barcode system into play to make their job much easier of keeping track of what parts are replaced. This has made the time consuming job much easier and much more
