Inventions like integrated circuits, video tape recorders, and satellites did a lot to shape the future of their respective fields. All of these inventions have been built up and are still in use today. The technological advancements made in the 1950s are perhaps some of the most valuable inventions when it comes to daily life. At the beginning of the 1950s only 9% of households owned a television, by the 1960s that number grew up to 87%.
There were a lot of technological changes that occurred in the 1980’s. One was The Personal Computer it was invented by Bill Lowe, the lab director in the company's Boca Raton, Fla., facilities. If you lived through the 1980s, then you know there were a lot of popular technologies products today made their mark in the 1980s. While there were several ideas of the Personal Computer the IBM 5150 long-established reputation that worked in its favor. It had a 16KB memory that was expandable to 256k, 16-bit 8088 processor running at 4.77MHz, two RS-232 serial interfaces, floppy disk drives, and an optional color monitor.

In 1939 nuclear research was immensely intensified when knowledge that Germany had found a way to split a uranium atom. The splitting of this atom caused an explosion bigger than any scientists had ever seen, enough energy to power a bomb that could produce tremendous destruction. Due to the space race and the Apollo 11 landing on the moon, America was able to make many new leaps in different areas of technologies post-1969.
The moon offers a lot of resources that could determine the development of a near-Earth/moon industrial infrastructure. It is difficult to identify a singular lunar resource that will be sufficiently valuable to drive the lunar mining on its own but the moon possess abundant raw materials that do present an economic interest for private companies and Governments. Other important advantages for the Moon mining are : - continuous solar energy with no nights for power and thermal energy, - gravities from zero to whatever a centrifuge will provide, saving the costs of landing and deploying processing equipment on the Moon's surface, - the capability to use the same industry in orbit for processing both asteroidal and lunar material (Permanent.com)
Another counter-argument against the hoax theory is the practicality of continuing the make believing for the rest of the Apollo missions. Conspiracy theorists claim that the reason the American government and N.A.S.A faked it was to swindle the American public out of billions of dollars. But how much more would it cost to bribe the people involved so they would keep quite and to pay for the thousands of exhibits and museums dedicated to the moon landings? It was said on a 2001 Fox TV Network program called, "Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?"
