Inventions like integrated circuits, video tape recorders, and satellites did a lot to shape the future of their respective fields. All of these inventions have been built up and are still in use today. The technological advancements made in the 1950s are perhaps some of the most valuable inventions when it comes to daily life. At the beginning of the 1950s only 9% of households owned a television, by the 1960s that number grew up to 87%.
Six out of seven flights landed on the moon. 4. The first Apollo flight occurred in 1968 but an actual moon landing was in 1972. 5. A total of 12 astronauts walked on the moon.

During World War II, the Americans had to face pressure from both Japan and Germany. When the United States became aware that Germany attempted to build atomic weapons, Americans began to concentrate fully on their research about creating an atomic bomb first. Under Germany’s threaten, President D. Roosevelt created a secret project, known as the Manhattan Project, to develop the atomic technology first.
There were a lot of technological changes that occurred in the 1980’s. One was The Personal Computer it was invented by Bill Lowe, the lab director in the company's Boca Raton, Fla., facilities. If you lived through the 1980s, then you know there were a lot of popular technologies products today made their mark in the 1980s. While there were several ideas of the Personal Computer the IBM 5150 long-established reputation that worked in its favor. It had a 16KB memory that was expandable to 256k, 16-bit 8088 processor running at 4.77MHz, two RS-232 serial interfaces, floppy disk drives, and an optional color monitor.
It had been a glorious day for the United States of America. With the surrender of Japan and the end of World War II, how could it get better? The research and completion of the Manhattan project were completely necessary to the defeat of the Japanese empire, officially end World War II, and gave the United States major advantages. The Manhattan Project brought nations working together, officially ended World War II, and gave America industrial advantages over the rest of the world.
The high attendance proved that Americans knew that something incredible would be witnessed that could last for copious years to come and revitalize the American way of life, since it had been weakened with the previous tough years. Some advances were rocketry, V-1 or “Buzz Bomb” and the V-2 or “Ballistic Missile.” The “Rocket team” developed these weapons for Germany were eventually brought to the United States after World War II, In Alabama under their leader Wernher von Braun, they helped to build the rockets that sent astronauts into space and to the moon. Electronic Computers were developed by the British the Nazi “Enigma” codes, and also by the Americans for ballistics calculations and other battlefield equations. Small “computers” could be found in soldiers pockets and in large command and control centers. Early Control centers aboard ships and aircraft started the networked, interactive computing that is so central to lives today.
Fears that Germany had the possibility of creating an atomic bomb sparked the Manhattan Project, the first attempt at the building an atomic bomb in the United States during World War II. In 1939 nuclear research was immensely intensified when knowledge that Germany had found a way to split a uranium atom. The splitting of this atom caused an explosion bigger than any scientists had ever seen, enough energy to power a bomb that could produce tremendous destruction. Albert Einstein, who fled from the Nazi’s in Germany, was the first to call attention to nuclear research in the United States.

Barry from NASA says “The space program of the 1960s didn't just send humans to the Moon; it created a robotic program of exploration that has taken us throughout the solar system with many adventures and discoveries of other worlds.” Furthermore, American space technology had to have advanced astonishingly to go from looking towards the moon to actually visiting it, as in the year 1969, when Apollo 11 finally landed on the moon. “Other technologies like breathing apparatuses, fabric structures, communications and protective coatings that made man’s step on the moon possible, soon led to giant leaps in technology on Earth.” (“Benefits from Apollo: Giant Leaps in Technology.”, NASA). Due to the space race and the Apollo 11 landing on the moon, America was able to make many new leaps in different areas of technologies post-1969.

Another counter-argument against the hoax theory is the practicality of continuing the make believing for the rest of the Apollo missions. Conspiracy theorists claim that the reason the American government and N.A.S.A faked it was to swindle the American public out of billions of dollars. But how much more would it cost to bribe the people involved so they would keep quite and to pay for the thousands of exhibits and museums dedicated to the moon landings? It was said on a 2001 Fox TV Network program called, "Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?"
Technology has evolved throughout the years and within time it will improve more to advancement. The history of the computer industry goes back to the 18th century. The earliest computer was enormous that took almost the whole space in a room. It was not a digital computer, therefore it did not have a screen as in today. As more time flew by computers has improved in technology industry.
