As president of the United States there are a lot of issues that can be handled without me.
There are some situations however that are very serious and pressing. A serious situation that has reached my desk needing to be dealt with is North Korea and their nuclear weapons. "North
Korea has had a interest in nuclear weapons since the mid 1990's, shortly thereafter the end of
World War II" (Rinehart). China has been North Korea's main source of goods since the Korean
Wars and has been the only people to want to help North Korea since the Kim regime has taken place. North Korea has had six nuclear tests (2006, 2009, 2013, twice in 2016, and 2017) since they withdrew from the Nuclear non-proliferation treaty (NPT) in January 2003. "North Koreas

Firstly, there is the issue that we may not know where all
North Korea's nuclear weapons and production areas are. If we go destroy their production and we miss something they can in return send a nuclear weapon to us or to our allies. Also, there is the matter that we may not be able to destroy everything even if we successfully find it all.
Striking first and it not being successful we always have the risk of them coming back at us, and coming back at us worse. We also risk starting and 2nd Korean war which would not be good for our allies.

United States of America I choose to make a grand bargain with China. Making a grand bargain with China has the least amount of violence for the United States. Even though we will have to rely a great deal on China it will be worth it to keep our people safe. If China wants economic and security safety that’s a small price to pay for saving our Country from nuclear weapons. This choice will be our best way to neutralize the situation without causing a nuclear war. It is my responsibility as President to ensure the safety and balance of
