Many young women today have unplanned pregnancies and never know what the right thing to do would be. There are many different ways that the teens can go about this issue. Most will go straight to abortion because to them there is not other option. Other women will do research and realize that in the world today there are many families that are unable to make a baby and would do anything to have a family. Abortion is an amazing gift that was brought about in this world today. If more women took the time to research and see what they could do when they are put into this situation they would realize that adoption is the best option for many different reasons. The rate of abortions today have gone down and the adoption rate went up. Before the 1980’s the only way to adopt was a closed adoption and most mothers didn 't want to do it because they would get attached to the baby and wouldn 't be able to ever see their child again. Today there are open adoptions and semi-open adoptions. An open adoptions is where the mother can see her child with the parents supervision and semi-open adoptions are where the mother gets pictures sent to her for the first 5 years of the child’s life every month. “95 percent of all infant adoptions involve some form of contact between birth and adoptive families” (adoptionstar). Studies show that more mothers a more likely to give up their baby if they have assurance that they will be able to see their child again or atlas see pictures rather than just hanging there baby off and never getting to see the baby again. Adoption now is a life long process and impacts everyone involved in a major way. Adoption has become a blessing to the world today in more ways then one. There are many couples that aren 't blessed with the luxury to have a child whenever they want. Most couples use to split after years of not being able to have a baby. Adoption is a very pricey and long process that many couples go through. “It generally costs from $0 to $1,000 to adopt a child from a County Foster/Adopt program. These children are often older, but sometimes infants are placed. A voluntary adoption of a newborn through a non-profit agency will generally cost between $10,000 and $25,000.” (adoptionhelp). When adopting a baby the family adopting has to pay for the mothers medical bills and the babies medical bills and also have to pay the agency. It coasts more than most people can afford but a lot of people find the money to be able to do it because they cant have a child and they want to have a family. Elizabeth had blue eyes and light hair and the rest of the family had brown eyes a dark hair and she knew that victor would fall or her. It made their family compete and just like in the world today.
