When looking at the pictures that we were shown in late May, the faces of the hangers were extremely disturbing. Smiles and cheer was scattered across all the white faces as the colored were amongst their death. This process was eventually frowned upon and made illegal. The action of lynching was a disaster and would never happen today. This is one way that history makes the case that racial issues have improved.
