Alice’s status in the home was low, but as she went into the rest of the world she had a pretty high status, until compared to her boss in which she would then again have a low status. Her motivation to get to her objective of marrying Tony was of course, love. With any objective there are tactics to get there, and stakes (or something that they stand to lose). The tactics used to get to the marriage was to have both of the families to accept each other and what Alice and Tony stood to lose was each other. The way that the characters talked throughout the play helped a lot with how the play can be brought to life. The way that most of the family
