For many years, during a world war, hand grenades and atomic bombs were used. However, atomic bombs were used only for special occasions and were only used by one country which was the United States of America. Hand grenades were used by many countries and their militaries while atomic bombs are rarely even used. Additionally, you have to consider the fact that there are many similarities and differences between both of these things. In this essay, I will tell you about the similarities and differences between a hand grenade and an atomic bomb.
There are many differences between a hand grenade and an atomic bomb, but there could be many similarities including having the ability to explode, kill somebody, and being able to clear an area. For instance, if we take a look at the ability to clear an area, we can see how both a hand grenade and an atomic bomb can both clear an area. But, there can also come many great differences. Some of these differences are how powerful they are, how big the explosions are, the weight that both of them have, and how to be able to use these items. If we take the amount of power of both of these items as an example, we can see how different they are because of course an atomic bomb would be way more powerful than a hand grenade since an atomic bomb can clear a whole city, while a hand grenade doesn’t have the ability to do this. As seen in world war two between America and Japan, we can see how America used the atomic bomb against Japan and bombed both Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The atomic bomb had an extremely big amount of power to get rid of both Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
