The Hunger Games and Goonies Literary Analysis Essay By Makayla Conard The Hunger Games and The Goonies are alike and have many of similarities and key differences. The ordeal, Approach, and refusal each have a number of these similarities and differences. Ordeal In the ordeal part of the hero's journey there, are similarities and quite a few differences. For instance, In the Hunger Games, the Ordeal is the final scene where Peeta and Katniss must fight off a pack of ferocious wolves if they want to get out alive. In The Goonies, the ordeal is when things go wrong and there is added conflict introduced. The goonies face a life-or-death situation when going on the adventure through the tunnels and everyone participating in the hunger games faces a life-or-death situation. One similarity between the Hunger Games and the Goonies ordeal is that anyone who enters the hunger games has to face a really big fear of killing people and surviving in the woods without food and water.
