The Simply Apple In The Stock Market

One of the purchases I made was Google for couple of reasons. First, Google is very diversified in their market in areas like, mobile operating systems and hardware and cloud computing services. Especially Google creating cars that drive themselves. They have many different things they are creating and investing in, creating high success rates in stock market. Second, I have seen many articles saying that Google is exceeding Apple in the stock market. For example Sherman, author, from CBS News, stated, “This the second time this year that Alphabet's (GOOG, +0.74%) market cap exceeded Apple's (AAPL, -0.14%) , with the first shift occurring for a few days time in February after a strong Google fourth quarter earnings report.” This are two reason

Since Apple came out, I have been a huge fan of Apple. Each year Apple has been producing amazing and successful technology for everyone. I think if a company keeps innovating and creating products/ services and if they succeed, there is a likelihood of more people wanting to invest in it. This is the reason I invested in Apple. There are so many things I learned from playing the “Mock Stock Market”. First, it shows the importance of diversification. Meaning it is important to invest in different companies and industries. The reason is because if person invest in one company like Exxon/ Mobil, the person is playing with higher risk because what if the company one day plumbs or terrorist attacks. Then all the money you invested in that company, is all gone. However, if you diversify it decreases the likelihood of risk and potentially increase higher returns. Second, helps person to think long term in which company likely do well, because every day the stock prices change and the performance of a company can affects their stock. It encourages the person to think wisely in picking a company that will help benefit them in the long run. Third, just by playing the stock market, it helps a person choose the right stocks/ companies to make the most money out of it. It all comes down to, picking the right company to invest in, if a person does that, then in return they will get a lot of money. This will impact my future financial planning
