Food has always satisfied us ever since we were born. Throughout history, we have discovered many ways to blend food flavors together to give an even more satisfying taste. To this day, we are still experimenting with food. If you think about it though, is it really worth sacrificing our health just to savor the flavors of a fresh juicy burger that came with those crisp cut fries? I might’ve not fell victim to consuming a lot of these unhealthy food items, but I have heard countless stories on how people struggle and even die from the food served from their local McDonald’s. This is why my family and I limit on how much we should eat out and eat as much healthy food as possible.
While fast food may be great for our taste buds and wallet, people must monitor on their diet because unhealthy food is the cause of obesity, the ways to make the food products is bad for the environment, and healthy food promotes a long and healthy lifestyle.

It isn’t really the product that makes you take a step towards obesity, but rather what was put in it. Corn sweeteners today are marked on what causes obesity. Since we have trouble trying to metabolize corn sweeteners, it would make sense that it would cause troubling effects in our body. “It’s probably no coincidence that the wholesale switch to corn sweeteners in the 1980’s marks the epidemic of obesity and type 2 diabetes in the country.” (Pollan-9). Though corn sweeteners can’t really be avoided since it is used in a lot of things. So the best thing to do is regulate your meals and also regulate the amount of snacks and drinks being consumed. It can at least reduce the amount of fat you get from these type of
