The book is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a mysterious virus has wiped out almost all of humanity, leaving only a few survivors. The story follows the main character, Adam, as he tries to survive in this new world where basic necessities like food, water, and shelter are scarce. One of the main themes of the book is survival, and the author explores the idea of the "Rule of Three" - the idea that a person can survive for three minutes without air, three days without water, and three weeks without food.
