Out of rage for Mercutio's death Romeo fights and kills Tybalt. Romeo is exiled from the country and his mother dies of grief because of it. Tybalt is responsible for killing Mercutio, driving Romeo to kill Tybalt, causing Romeo’s mother to die of grief and causing Romeo to be
Likewise, after Mercutio and Tybalt's death, he is banished to let the people repent the loss of the Prince. Both the Montagues and Capulets are punished as a result. The montagues can no longer see his own son, and the Capulets can not put Romeo to death for killing Tybalt. Secondly, after his banishment, he ruins his marriage with Juliet and stains his childhood joy. Furthermore, as a result of his foolishness and acting without thinking, Romeo commits suicide after not receiving Friar’s letter.
“The blame Game” If i would have to pick any character in the book who caused all the problems i would have to say it was Romeo. I’m saying it’s romeo because he kept the marriage between him and juliet a secret, he killed tybalt, and he was very hasty. Friar laurence was responsible for marrying Romeo and Juliet. The nurse and them three was the only one’s that knew about it. If they wouldn’t have never kept the marriage a secret the prince wouldn’t have Romeo banned from the town and Romeo and Juliet could’ve lived happily ever after.
Subsequently, Tybalt again influenced their deaths by killing Mercutio. After marrying Juliet, Romeo goes to the town square and causes a fight between Tybalt and Mercutio. Tybalt accidentally kills Mercutio, and Romeo kills Tybalt. This caused Romeo and Juliet’s deaths, because Romeo cannot kill Tybalt because of his social status, when he does kill him, Romeo is to be banished or executed. He chooses to get banished, and inadvertently made Juliet drink the potion, which caused her and Romeo’s
After Romeo slays Juliet’s cousin, he is banished from Verona and is forced to leave to another city. Because the friar and Juliet are unable to communicate their plan to the bridegroom due to his absence from the city, Romeo commits suicide thinking that Juliet is dead. This provides Tybalt closure by completing his goal to have Romeo dead, but in the process, Juliet dies as well. As aforementioned, rage only leads to grief, and no one gets anything out of it. The indignation between the two families caused both their children to die, and the rage of Tybalt towards Romeo caused both his cousins, Romeo and Juliet to
He can tell that Tybalt is in a bad mood, but provokes him anyway by hinting that there is something going on that Tybalt does not know about. Tybalt gets mad and a fight starts during which Romeo’s friend Mercutio dies. Romeo wants to avenge his friend and decides that “[Tybalt] or [himself], or both, must go with [Mercutio],” (III, i, 127). He begins a fight and kills Tybalt. This angers the Prince who punishes Romeo by banishing him.
On the day of his wedding, Friar Laurence insisted him to take things slowly, but still, Romeo played a deaf ear to the advice. After the wedding, Romeo got into the fight with Tybalt who is the cousin of Juliet, and killed Tybalt later on for a revenge of his friend Mercutio's death. He did not thoroughly think about the consequences of his impulse actions with his new identity of Juliet’s husband. As the husband of Juliet, he should consider himself as a part of the Capulet family, who should never harm any of the family members. As a result of killing Tybalt, he got banished out of Verona, which triggered the series of irreversible consequence to occur.
The Irresponsible Deaths of Romeo and Juliet There is always that one person that does not listen to anyone no matter if they are given good or bad advice. That one person always ends up on the wrong path. That is the same story as “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet”, by William Shakespeare. Who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet? Is it Friar Laurence, Tybalt, or even Romeo himself?
The teens willing to do anything to be together, would see each other sneakily. The love they shared caused many deaths and confusion between houses. It all ended when Juliet fakes her death because she does not want to marry someone her father ordered her to. When Romeo hears of this he takes his own life and
This is clearly demonstrated when Romeo says to Tybalt “Now, Tybalt, take the villain back again, that late thou gavest me; for Mercutio's soul is but a little way above our heads, staying for thine to keep him company: Either thou, or I, or both, must go with him” (3, 1, 116-120). In Romeo’s rage he proposes a duel with Tybalt and in his fury of his best friend being killed, he kills Tybalt. This quote is significant as it shows that Romeo is so bound by his emotions that he cannot control himself. With this one impulsive act, Romeo was banished and was to be killed if he were to come
At the party a fight almost breaks out when Tybalt see Romeo. Tybalt tells Juliet's father but he tells Tybalt to calm himself down and leave Romeo alone. Romeo meets up with Juliet and smooth talks her. Later that night when they have barely spent any time together Romeo proposes. The next day Romeo and Juliet meet at the church and the Friar wedds them thinking that he might be able to gain fame and fortune by wedding them and ending the feud between the two houses.
He incites unnecessary violence against Romeo, kills Mercutio, and complicates the plot and Romeo and Juliet’s marriage. When Romeo was found at the Capulet party, Tybalt was furious. Grandly representing the house feud between the Capulets and Montagues, he sent a letter to Romeo, challenging his life. Even when told to let the matter go, Tybalt insists to duel Romeo. His insistent dueling ends up killing Mercutio instead of Romeo.
Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy of true love that is so powerful it ends in a terrible fate. In the play of Romeo and Juliet, they experience many misfortunes due to their forbidden love. The argued question is what is the cause for the misfortunes, the text supports the opinion that Romeo and Juliet cause their own misfortunes. There were three main rash and unreasonable decisions that can be blamed for the misfortune which are Romeo and Juliet’s decision to get married next time they encounter one another, Romeo's decision, although not unreasonable still his own, to kill Tybalt, and finally Juliet's agreement to Friar Lawrence’s plan of faking thy own death.
In the world that we live in today, there are many things that we face daily. Whether it be illness, love or just bad decisions, everybody encounters them and many more. Rash decisions are made on a very common basis among people. A lot of stuff affect the decisions you make. May it be, being too young and not having enough experience to make good decisions, or just the lack of care of the outcome.
Analytical Essay: Romeo and Juliet We often blame fate for the problems we face in our lives but sometimes events take place because of our own actions. In the tragedy of William Shakespeare, Romeo, and Juliet, two lovers come across each other building conflict which then leads to the death of them both and others.
