The origin of the Universe video did a great job explaining the big bang and how the Universe is an ever-expanding thing. Their group explained how our Universe might have started from a black hole. Their group states that there was a quiet, but huge explosion took place, which was the big bang. They also explain how it the big bang has expanded over 13.7 billion light years. At the end of the video, their video explains that a law describes a single action. Where on the other hand a theory explains an entire group of related phenomena. The group did not mention it, but in every direction, there is a very low energy and very uniform radiation that we see filling the Universe. It is cosmic background radiation, which is the afterglow of the …show more content…
This a large dense gas clouds that is cold. The second stage is Protostar, which is a gas clump collapsing and heating up in the center as it collapses. The third stage is the T-Tauri, which is a star like object visible from the outside. The fourth stage is the Main Sequence, which is a star that is stable because of Hydrostatic Equilibrium. The fifth stage is Sub giant, Red Giant, Supergiant these run out of core fusion fuel. The sixth stage is Core Fusion, which is when the core has shrunk enough to create high enough temperatures to start Helium fusion. The seventh stage is a Red Giant, Supergiant, which is when the core fuel runs out again. The eighth stage is a Planetary Nebula or Supernova, which is when the outer layers are ejected as a core shrinks to the most compact state. The final stage is a Remnant, which is when a low mass core shrinks to white dwarf. They also mention that nuclear fusion is what the sun powers it’s energy from. The Sun produces energy by the nuclear fusion of hydrogen into helium in its core. This energy is then radiated out from the core and moves across the solar system. Overall their video taught me a lot and kept me entertained while doing
