Most people who got employed were either painters, musicians, or writers. This program helped about a total of 9 million people in America (Doc B). After the New Deal was created, the unemployment rate went down drastically (Doc D).

According to Taylor (2009) the Works Progress Administration nurseries was renamed in 1939 and became the largest and most influential agency whose contributions and impact made it possible to employ millions of people to carry out public works projects. These administrations helped out both the government and the people. The Works Progress Administration made jobs for the unemployed men and women. According to the American Yawp the projects done by the people were beneficial to the community as shown in the text, “The Public Works Administration (PWA) provided grants-in-aid to local governments for large infrastructure projects, such as bridges, tunnels, schoolhouses, libraries, and America’s first federal public housing projects.” Part of the New Deal was helping in shaping America and rebuilding communities at the same time, not only was the government benefiting from the people, but so were the people. Men were able to earn money to support their families. With money, people could buy products and put money in the bank. the WPA really helped the economy to grow again. Another program that helped people was Social Security Administration. it helped many kinds of people, for example, the old, the disabled, the widowed and children with only one parent.
The Works Progress Administration, Social Security Act, and the National Youth administration provided many jobs to the American people. Based, on document 1 a young female was able to land a job in the NYA. This not only alleviated some burden from her parents,but it also allowed for this also allowed her to spend more money, which recycles through her expenditures and contributes to the economy. The extra money she spent therefore provided even more jobs and helped alleviate the unemployment crisis. In document 6 the WPA provided jobs for many Americans.
The New Deal programs aided those struggling during the depression to increase consumer spending, which ended the depression. In 1933, the Public Works Administration, a program of the New Deal that provided employment to work on infrastructure and parks, went into action. Between 1933 and 1939, the PWA spent six billion dollars on 34,000 projects around the country, including bridges, roads, public buildings, hospitals, and airports. During the mid-1930s, factories had shut their doors to people looking for work.
The Works Progress Administration, WPA, is one of the largest Acts and is one of the most effective acts towards the community's. During the Great Depression a lot of people went Luikart 2 bankrupt and lost their jobs. When the New Deal was made, the Works Progress Administration Act, made a better community because it deals with the public. For example, the WPA does things like fixing bridges, houses, and roads. By creating the New Deal, it made a better community because town/cities became nicer with the help of the Works Progress Administration Act.

The New Deal is made up of several programs, financial solutions, and policies led by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933 to provide alleviation to millions of Americans during the Great Depression. There were downfalls when it came to not stopping discrimination towards black people; however, it was a success when it came to helping undernourished children by providing hot meals and giving farmers and homeowners mortgage distress. A success in the New Deal was when qualified women workers prepared warm food for underprivileged/undernourished children through the WPA’s school lunch program. With unemployment rates continuing to rise, my plan is to create an organization that will offer jobs to those in need. The Works Progress Administration (WPA) is an unemployment relief program which I have chosen to form under the New Deal. The program will seek to prevent the unemployment rates from rising and to put an end to the current poverty our nation faces. With the power and wealth of the federal government, the WPA will create public works projects and hire the unemployed which will benefit both the people and the economy.
Time is the most valuable and limited resource on this planet. It can be wasted, but never recovered. For this reason, I have always aimed for the stars with my aspirations, and my career in addition to my academic goals are no less optimistic. It was almost eleven years ago now, when I first laid my gaze upon the Naval Academy for the first time.
