In numerous religions, there is an extensive accentuation on love and what that really implies. In the Catholic-Christian religion love is at the focal point of all things. There is the significance of the love of self, others, and in particular God. This implies a wide range of things and can be communicated in various ways. Self-esteem can be communicated through activities that advance one's respect and devotion to God. Demonstration of affection for others can be through various relationships. For example a family, community, companions, and marriage. The affection for God can be shown through both of these sorts of adoration and additionally building a relationship with God and His child Jesus Christ. In John’s Gospel, one of the last instructions Jesus gave his disciples was that they should love one another (John 13:34f). Jesus had just washed the disciples’ feet. Among all these ideas the renewal of marriage seems to have the most importance. His reasoning for this is because he is noticing a shift young adults and the desire to be married or even in just in committed relationships.
