This paper is to track the foods I have ate over a three day period, because the way we eat can affect our health and may cause some disease like heart disease There are foods that we can eat to make sure that the daily nutritional intake is being made in our everyday diets. It is hard for me to make sure I eat all the foods that I am supposed and also drink water so that I can eat and drink all the nutrients that my body needs to stay healthy. I know I need to change my eating habits and I need to be more active to achieve my healthy eating goals I have for myself. I ate pork roast and corn those right there contained some of protein daily intake. The carbohydrates were found in the slices of bread that I ate. Lipids come from the fats and oils that are in certain foods we all eat. The Dietary Recommended Intake (DRI) states that I am below recommended range for my age. My protein intake based on body weight was 108.1%, which was low in my opinion I should be eating more protein, but Like I stated above I am picky eater so that it hard for me and should be eating more.
Macronutrients according to the dictionary means the nutritional components of the diet that are required in relatively large amounts of: protein, carbohydrates, fats and the macro minerals (dictionary.com). Eating foods that contain macronutrients supply the person’s energy and calorie intake also eating the recommend amount so you are in taking unhealthy fats along with eating less where you don’t get enough saturated fat into your diet.
