Abstract
This research paper will address what the code of ethics is for educators. Throughout this paper, there will be examples of situations a teacher has violated ethical principles. In addition to informing on what it is, this paper will identify and explain cases. It is important for educators to have this code of ethics in order to maintain safety and structure for students.

Violations of the Code of Ethics and Principles by Licensed Educators
The Code of Ethics and Principles of Professional Conduct of the Education Profession is placed in order to protect the rights of all students. The violation of ethical code has become an arising issue throughout the past few years. Some teachers are accused of cases such as, …show more content…

According to SunSentinel, Gerard Czwartacky was given perpetual revocation, and interdiction from applying for a new certificate after the case. He attempted to have sexual relations with a female student. Sexual relations can range anywhere from verbal accusations, to physical intercourse. His actions violated the Code of Ethics and Principles of the Florida Department of Education, which stated “An educator shall not exploit a relationship with a student for personal gain or advantage.” According to SunSentinel, Czwartacky was indicted for caressing a girl from her breast to her waist, and also telling a students that together they can “have their own party.” What he has termed as “having their own party” is seen as a sexual threat. This is considered possessing a physical, sexual, relationship because this educator, Gerard Czwartacky, was alluding to sexually taking advantage of the young women for his own personal …show more content…
