In the movie, “The Dead Poet’s Society”, you watch the character Todd Anderson go through many changes. Today I will be walking you through how Todd Anderson follows the Hero Quest, and show how in the end he has found his own voice. In the beginning, we see Todd Anderson at his first day of Welton Academy. He is incredibly nervous, as well as quiet. The first night in the dorms, Neil and the other boys introduce themselves, and Todd still remains very quiet. In Mr. Keating’s class, Todd seems very uncomfortable and out of place. When the boys find a yearbook with Mr. Keating in it, they become very curious about the “Dead Poets Society”. Mr. Keating informs them that it was a group of boys who would go to the Indian Cave, and read poetry at night. Neil decides to get the boys together and carry on the club.
