The human mind is a multi complex system, just one mistake, or one achievement can change the development of one’s mind. Mindset is “the established set of attitudes held by someone” (Oxford Languages). According to “What is Trauma-Focused Therapy” written by students from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine talks about Trauma-Focused Therapy, which is “a specific approach to therapy that recognizes and emphasizes understanding how the traumatic experience impacts a child’s mental, behavioral, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.” (Northwestern). This type of therapy can help people who have experienced a traumatic event in their life. The role of the therapist helps the person understand their situation, teach strategies to express their feelings and cope with stressful situations. This can be specifically helpful to the youth who have been through a traumatic situation. Through trauma-focused treatment, your child can learn more about what he or she is going through, how to address the issues, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. Here are a few examples of the advantages of trauma-focused therapy. Another solution is changing a person’s fixed mindset into a growth mindset. Some strategies you can do are embrace change. Changing your mindset may mean losing a job, making new friends, or moving to a new area. Have good goals, surround yourself with positive people, and talk out your feelings. Only 40% of people have a growth mindset according to Carol Dweck. Which shows that 60% of our world has a fixed mindset which explains why less people succeed in life. A growth mindset will help you achieve bigger achievements in life. Individual experiences, both have positive and negative effects on the impact and development of one’s mindset. This can cause them to have a fixed or negative mindset, where they feel that they are not in control of their lives and that the future will turn into failure. Personal
