Obstacles can be challenging, and difficult, but people can overcome them by never giving up, always trying their best, and surrounding themselves with families and friends. Two stories that I have read that show adversity are “A Work in Progress” by Aimee Mullins which is about a little girl losing her leg. The other story I read is “So Far From the Bamboo Grove” by Yoko Kawashima Watkins about a little girl that has to leave her home because of war and has very big obstacles to overcome. Aimee Mullins and the Kawashimas both face obstacles that include losing family members, walking very far in intense weather, and people doubting you and trying to stop you. In the end they all make it through the the challenges mentally and physically.

Examples of barriers are fear of heights, fear of people, personal issues, death, insecurity, lack of confidence, self-esteem, mental illnesses, inexperience, and disability. It may affect people in thinking that everything bad happens to them and life isn’t fair with them. On the other hand, I think that’s not correct. I think it helps them get more motivated to know that they can overcome any obstacle they want whenever they feel like it. Just how people say it may cause them to fear having those obstacles it also motivates them to get better and overcome them.
There could be a positive outcome were an obstacle can be turned into good. An example would be going to jail because it has a negative situations to positive. Going to jail might be something difficult to understand ,but let’s say someone was accused on a situation for being a liar by committing something illegal. Well going to prison for couple of months can make the person better by learning not to do bad things.

It could be moral opposition or anything that impedes you from comfortably achieving one's goal. Martin Luther King Jr overcame his obstacle in the Movie Selma. He gave Africans Americans the full right to vote.

Everyone knows that life is not easy all of the time, and everyone will make mistakes. Making mistakes is an inevitable part of being human. However, it is what you choose to do afterwards that matters. Successful people choose to leave it in the past, and to learn from it in the future.
