Romeo and Juliet In the play “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare, Tybalt is responsible for most of the violence and death. This is mainly because of his rage about the family fued between the Montagues and the Capulets. He is a Capulet and he wants to fight or kill Montagues anytime he sees or hears one of them.
The reason Tybalt is to blame is because he started a chain reaction that lead to the deaths of many characters, including Romeo and Juliet. This chain reaction includes three main events. The first event is Tybalt having a hot-head and over reacting at a party.
Tybalt is the one to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet deaths. Tybalt was the one responsible for their deaths. When he always find romeo he wants to fight him but romeo doesn't want to. Tybalt was the one who always wanted to fight with Romeo because Romeo went to the Capulet party to find his love, rosaline. Tybalt then says to his servant “This, boy, By his voice, is a montague.
He, assisted by Mercutio, was the spark that set the Montagues and Capulets completely against each other. During the party, Tybalt’s uncle was aware that a Montague was at his party, but he didn’t mind; only Tybalt was bothered. Later, when Tybalt kills Mercutio, it sets Romeo into a fit of rage, resulting in Tybalt’s death. Romeo takes all the blame for both deaths since Tybalt is slain, causing a chain reaction that forced the Montagues and the Capulets into a seething battle. Tybalt’s own death was the beginning of serious conflict between the two families which subsequently caused more deaths to follow.
In the William Shakespeare tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, the sole person responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is Tybalt due to his actions that infuriated Romeo. Throughout this tragedy, Tybalt is always agitating Romeo and is very aggressive towards him due to the ancient feud between the Capulets and the Montague. Throughout this tragedy, it's shown that Tybalt believes that the capulets are better than the Montagues. On page 348 lines 85 the stage directions say “Tybalt under Romeo’s arm thrusts Mercutio in”(Shakespeare 3.1.85). Then on page 350 lines 126 “ this will determine that”(Shakespeare 3.1.126).
The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Tybalt is responsible for his own death because he starts the fight, he’d still be killed by the prince for starting another fight and killing Mercutio, and his angry personality makes him continue to get into fights. He wants to fight, but Romeo is not budging, for he does not want to harm Juliet’s cousin. So instead of Romeo fighting Tybalt, Mercutio fights Tybalt because Romeo will not fight for himself. In the play Romeo and Juliet, Father Capulet, Tybalt, and Friar Lawrence are responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. First, there is Tybalt who tried to fight Romeo at the Capulet’s party and also killed Mercutio later in the play. Tybalt wanted to fight Romeo for showing up at the Capulet’s ball, but Mercutio being a faithful friend decided he would fight on the behalf of Romeo. Romeo steps in the middle of them and Tybalt ends up stabbing Mercutio under Romeo’s arms. Out of anger and wanting of revenge Romeo kills Tybalt and because of this is banished from Verona. ‘“Therefore use none: let Romeo hence in haste,”’ (3.1. 190). One would say Romeo is responsible for their deaths because if he had not been banished from Verona he would have not been far away from Juliet and Friar Laurence could have told him the Juliet’s plan in person.
Lastly, Tybalt is the most to blame for the events that occur in Romeo and Juliet because of the the first events he caused leading to the suicides of Romeo and Juliet. The confirmation that Tybalt is the cause of the terrible events in Romeo and Juliet is shown in the play “Romeo and Juliet” when Romeo says, “Is it even so? then I defy you, stars! Thou know ' st my lodging: get me ink and paper, and hire post-horses; I will hence tonight.”

They have to face obstacles just to find a way to be together and eventually have to secrednize their marriage. The characters Friar Lawrence, Romeo and Lord, Lady Capulet are primarily responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. They all have things they did that leads to Romeo and Juliet’s departness. Also, the decisions they made and the problems they caused such as ruining true love.
There are a lot of people who are to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death but the most obvious one is Tybalt. Tybalt was lady Capulet’s nephew and Juliet’s cousin. Tybalt was also a troublemaker and hated the Montagues. To support that, “What, drawn, and talk of peace? I hate the word as I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee.
Tybalt always wanted to fight Romeo. Tybalt and Mercutio get into a fight because of some upsetting words Tybalt said. In the fight Tybalt kills Mercutio, which get Romeo upset. Then Romeo kills Tybalt, which gets him banished form Verona, Italy. So the long-standing family feuding and fate are the cause of Romeo and Juliet’s deaths.
The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Tybalt is responsible for his own death because he has a history of killing, he has an attitude that instigates on problems, and he has grudges against Romeo. Tybalt is at fault for his own death because he has killed other people before. Romeo exclaims to Tybalt, after Tybalt killed Mercutio, “He’s alive and victorious, and Mercutio’s dead?” (3.1.84). In this quote, Romeo is wailing that a great person was just killed by Tybalt.
