Working in the bank enabled me to understand some aspects of being successful as a customer representative. The first thing I realized was that communication is usually an essential aspect to success. It is also important for me to have the ability of multi-tasking during the working hours. This made flexible in the work place. In this bank, it is usually compulsory to ask the right questions at the appropriate time. Thence, I also realized that it is important to maintain punctuality in order to be successful. Another key to success entails that an employee has to have a professional attitude in order to fit in the competitive market.

For instance, the task in which I was assigned to find mistakes at the payment order or the received message from a foreign country in order to correct it and most importantly the translation of documents using the English language. I was carefully listen to my supervisor’s needs and drew on conclusion on how to find the information that was needed. The second competency concept I have to apply was being able to collaborate and work as a team with others. Throughout my internship, I got together with a group of staff to meet other departments’ manager. When collaborating with others I had the chance to hear others ideas or projects on what would make a great vision of the service as well as of the whole bank. I also cope with my supervisor on developing and learning by employing the content he has given to me.
