Strengths: Overall, I think that this curriculum unit would be very easy to use. Teachers could easily look over the lesson plans and be able to teach the lessons without any difficulty understanding. Everything needed in a lesson plan is included for teachers to refer to when preparing and teaching these lessons. All of the procedures and assessment activities are detailed and easy for teachers to use. The objectives and standards are labeled clearly at the top of each lesson plan so that the teacher knows what the students should be able to do by the end of the lesson.
Each lesson includes additional activities and worksheets that can be used to extend the lesson and assess students understanding. This prevents teachers from having to find or create their own assessments. The worksheets are found at the end of the lesson plan and include an easy to use answer key. There are even visuals included within the lesson plan that teachers can use during the lesson. There are a list of additional materials that the teacher would need to have at the beginning of the lesson. The teacher can easily look at this and have all the materials necessary ready before the lesson
