In order to grow and expand, Tesco needs to have a good communication and information management as this will help them to apply their different strategies and reach their goals and objective more effectively.
Tesco is a big organisation as they have excellent communication and information management system within the business. Tesco use information and communication method efficiently in a way they operate. Therefore this is could be the reason as they are one of the biggest retailers in the UK.

This is can be done in many ways for example when Tesco’s workers are communicating with customers, managers. Tesco uses verbal communication to the best of their ability so they can resolve any problem or enquires by staff or customers. Most of these are done face to face so the problem is solved fast and effectively as it will be easier of their staff to visualize the customer facial expression to see how they are reacting to the situation. Face to face communication is the best way of communication because Tesco uses this method of communication everyday as there is less scope for miss-understanding in it. Tesco also uses face to face communication to communicate information with their customer which they will obtain instant reply.
However the disadvantage of this method of communication is that people don’t always get the time to meet and discuss things face to face. And also it would cost a lot of money for people from different place of work to meet and have face to face communication.
