A mission statement is a defining piece of identity for an organization. It shows what an organization stands for, what is at stake and reflects who is invested in the organization. Mission statements serve just as great of a purpose to the community as they do to the organization. It is an organization’s promise to the community and a way to hold themselves accountable within their organization. This paper will discuss possible mission statements, departments necessary as well as positions and job descriptions, an organization reporting chart and discuss outsourced functions. OPTION 2:
“Catering to baseball fans from near and far, VR Chicago provides a one of a kind baseball VR experience. Located on the Wrigley Field Campus, VR Chicago intertwines technology and history to take fans back in time on a tour of Wrigley Field and the 100+ year old story of the Chicago Cubs.”
OPTION 2 DESCRIPTION:
This mission statement sounds more like a pitch to the reader. It helps place the reader in shoes of a fan that would actually be interested in purchasing a tour.
OPTION 3:
“Driving the baseball industry to new heights, VR Chicago offers a VR tour and experience of Wrigley Field and the Chicago Cubs. The first of its kind, VR Chicago knits virtual reality, holograms and so much more to provide baseball fans of all ages the opportunity of a lifetime, to go back in time and witness Wrigley Field all through the years.”

This mission statement reflects well on the technology aspects of the VR experience being offered by VR Chicago. It provides insight, while leaving room for curiosity, and tells a story all at the same
