Veterinarian Giving an animal the care it needs is a great career choice for anybody who loves animals. Helping animals who just want to have a happy home and making sure that they are as healthy as can be. Being a veterinarian can satisfy a lot of your needs for helping animals. It’s questionable if it is worth going through all those years of school and having to pay all the student fees that come with it. What Type of veterinarian would be best for the time, money the and how much long it will take to get a job after you are out of school and if it is a job that you will love or hate. When going to school to be a veterinarian you have to be super committed. 6-8 years in college is a long time, and it will take a lot of focus and time and money to get where you want to be in the veterinarian career. Everybody thinks about it. A lot stress about it. A lot will not stress about it. But will being a veterinarian be enough to be able to keep a happy life and be able to buy all the things you need in life? The average starting salary for a veterinarian is about $60,000 yearly. A lot can play a role in how much money you make. Where you live can make a huge difference certain states can pay more than others. You could live in New Jersey and make an average $114,040 yearly or live in Montana and make only $66,670 on average. In Michigan, $87,150 is the average. Will that be enough to pay for your mortgage and car insurance and everything else you have to pay for? On average a person will spend $66,650 depending on their income yearly. Money is something everyone uses in everyday life and you need to make sure that you have enough to have a good life and one that you could afford to pay for.
